Serving the Japan–Washington relationship since 1923, the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington (JASSW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering business, cultural, and personal ties between the people of Japan and Washington State.

The Holiday Dinner & Auction is JASSW’s largest annual fundraiser, supporting our general operations and signature programs, including Japan in the Schools (JIS), which brings Japanese cultural experiences to K–12 classrooms across the region. Proceeds also make it possible for JASSW to host business networking opportunities and cultural exchange events throughout the year.

Each year, this festive evening draws more than 300 guests from business, government, and the community in celebration of our shared mission. Highlights include live music, community awards, keynote speakers, and a vibrant holiday gathering with friends and partners of JASSW.

*JASSW is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 23-7282194). Contributions to JASSW are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. For sponsorships, the tax-deductible amount is the total contribution minus the fair market value (FMV) of any goods or services received. The estimated FMV for sponsorships at this event is $640 for Platinum, Diamond, and Gold Sponsors, $480 for Silver Sponsor and $320 for Friendship Circle.
