For School Visits
Volunteers are a large part of the success of the Japan in the Schools (JIS) program.
Japan In the Schools is a free program designed to educate Washington State students about the language and culture of Japan.
Since 1994, community volunteers have been traveling to local schools, giving children the opportunity to learn about daily life in Japan.
Last year we did 107 presentations reaching 3500 students at 30 schools!
