Join the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington (JASSW) for a great opportunity to support a unique event focused on Japanese video game culture.

Japan Currents 2026: Japanese Video Game Culture Crossing the Pacific brings together speakers from the Japanese and U.S. game industries to explore how Japanese video game culture has spread across the Pacific and continues to influence global entertainment and creativity.

As a volunteer, you’ll help the event run smoothly and have a great chance to connect with people working across the gaming industry.

Volunteer Tasks

Volunteer tasks include:  helping with set-up and tear-down, working registration, assisting guests and speakers, supporting the AV setup & Zoom livestream, and helping out at the networking reception.

*In order to help with the bar area, you must be 21 years of age or older.
