JASSW is pleased to host a special edition of JAS-NET (Japan-America Society Networking), welcoming students from Aoyama Gakuin University’s MBA program, Aoyama Business School. The evening will begin with a series of presentations by the MBA students on the theme:
“Global Leadership and Innovation: Cross-Cultural Insights and Future Strategies from the U.S. and Japan.”
These students—rising leaders and professionals from some of Japan’s most influential companies, including NTT DATA, Rakuten Group, United Arrows, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, NEC, Takeda Pharmaceutical, and Mizuho Bank—will share key learnings from their Seattle study tour. Their program includes collaborative workshops with UW Foster School of Business students as well as site visits to global industry leaders such as Starbucks, Boeing, and other innovative companies in the Seattle region.
Following the presentations, guests are invited to enjoy a casual networking reception featuring wine, sake, and light refreshments. This will be a valuable opportunity to connect with business professionals, MBA students, and members of the Japan-America community while exchanging perspectives on leadership, innovation, and U.S.–Japan collaboration.
*The presentation session is free to attend. Please purchase a ticket if you plan to stay for the networking session.
*Alcoholic beverages will be served during the networking session, and valid ID may be required. Minors under 21 are welcome to attend; however, if you are under 21 and plan to join the networking session, please contact our office in advance.
*The dress code for the event is business casual.
