Green Ammonia as a Clean Energy Fuel:

Japan and US Perspectives

A Business Roundtable Webinar

An overview of this webinar appears on the previous web page:

Green Ammonia as a Clean Energy Fuel: Japan and US Perspectives « Japan-America Society of the State of Washington

Continuing:

Prof. Hideaki Kobayashi, Institute of Fluid Science, Tohoku University, will be a leading speaker on the Japanese side. In 2022, he was awarded the Bernard Lewis Gold Medal by the Combustion Institute, an international organization. In that same year, he co-edited the book, "CO2-Free Ammonia as an Energy Carrier, Japan's Insights," available on Amazon (Springer). It is the first comprehensive technical monograph on ammonia fuel.

With three additional corporate Japanese speakers and one American one, attendees will likely gain a broad overview of Japan's plans to use ammonia as a clean-energy fuel. Such endeavors include "bunkering" (the supplying of fuel for ships) on the US West Coast.
