Rich Fabian, President and Chief Operating Officer, FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc
Richard "Rich" Fabian joined FUJIFILM Sonosite, Inc. in January 2017, bringing more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Rich leads all aspects of the global business. Prior to joining FUJIFILM Sonosite, Rich served with Philips Healthcare for 15 years where he held various executive leadership roles, including Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America, Vice President and General Manager of a global business unit, and Vice President of Marketing for Imaging Systems. He built high-performing teams that consistently delivered strong business results. Rich earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Mark W. Womack — Chief Business Officer, AGC Biologics
After a decorated career in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Womack joined the management consulting industry, ultimately serving as the Chief Operating Officer for two global consultancies. He led both organizations to record highs in revenue and profit, while serving Fortune 200 clients across a wide range of industries. In 2018, he joined the AGC Biologics executive team and led the integration of the three companies – across the U.S., Asia and Europe – that merged to create AGC Biologics. Following the highly successful integration, the board appointed Mr. Womack to the role of Chief Business Officer on January 1, 2019. In each of the past two years, he has led AGC Biologics to record highs in new business acquisition, securing contracts with many of the world’s most renowned pharma companies. Mr. Womack earned an Executive Management Certification from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science degree in Organization Development from Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Southern Illinois University.

Taylor Mills - Regional Director, International Strategy & Business Development, Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Taylor Mills is a regional director for North East Asia in the International Strategy and Business Development organization at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this role, he leads the development and execution of Boeing strategy across China, Japan and South Korea. Mills previously served in the Supply Chain organization at Commercial Airplanes, leading a team focused on the development of Chinese suppliers. He was responsible for driving the strategy and execution of work transfers, and was also responsible for multiple supplier negotiations that resulted in millions of dollars of work being placed in China. Mills joined Boeing in 2010 after earning bachelor’s degrees in government and history at Eastern Washington University. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son.

Matt Smith, Director, Industry & Resource Development, Economic Alliance Snohomish County
Matt is a JASSW board member and has been with Economic Alliance and its’ predecessor organization since 2008. He recruits companies from outside the State to establish an operation in Snohomish County and supports existing companies with their expansion projects. His connection with Japan began in 1982 as a business recruiter for the WA State Department of Commerce with a focus on Japanese projects. He was the Manager of US Business Development for Chiyoda Corporation, a global engineering firm. He is a board member of the WA Economic Development Alliance and a UW Husky.
